HOW IT WORKS

• Mix Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay with equal parts Apple Cider Vinegar or water.
Stir the mixture until it becomes a smooth paste, adding more clay or liquid as needed.
Apply 1/8” to ¼” thick layer of clay to the face or other preferred area and let dry. Drying time may vary.
We generally recommend leaving clay on the skin for 5-10 minutes for first-time users and for those with sensitive skin.
For those with non-sensitive skin or that have used the product before, it can be left on for up to 20 minutes.
A pulsating or tightening sensation is normal as the clay dries. Patch test on the forearm prior to applying to the face.

I gave it 4 stars because I haven't been consistent enough to see any changes but my face does feel nice and smooth after. Redness is normal and there is no burning or sensitivity with it. (I do have very sensitive skin)
Anyway, it took me a few times to get MY process down to remove the mask. I'll try and add pictures some other time.
- I mix the clay and apple cider vinegar in a small container/bowl. I personally use a disposable plastic knife to mix and spread the mask on my face. I like that I'm able to just toss the knife(spreader) once I'm done.
- I use 1 to 2 Tablespoons of clay mix and equal parts apple cider vinegar. It seems to be the right amount for my face so I don't waste product.
- I like my sink with a paper towel. I'll wet the edges so the clay doesn't get between the sink and the paper towel.
- I wait to remove it after I feel the tightening on my face and after it hardens on my face.
- over the sink (with a paper towel to prevent drain clogging) I'll begin to gently peel off any clay I can. I'll use the plastic knife to help peel chunks gently). Dry clay will fall on the paper towel.
- Once I have removed the majority of the clay, I'll throw away the paper towel and turn on warm-hot water.
- I have bought Amazon basics washcloths and I'll get one damp with warm-hot water and lay it over my face for a few seconds until it "melts" the dry clay on my face. Wipe. Rinse the washcloth and repeat.
- I personally like the feeling of the hot washcloth over my face. I feel like I'm giving myself a mini spa treatment.
Anyway, once done, you have a clean sink. Throw away the plastic knife. And rinse the washcloth so there isn't any clay residue and BAM. I don't struggle anymore with removing the clay mask.
